and to all a good night....

Thanks to all my clients who make this quilting journey so fulfilling.  I have completed my last project for 2012.  I've been staying up until the wee hours to finish all the projects I've promised and now I'm taking a few days off to collect myself and brace for the new year.

Thanks to all of you who have supported Red Barn Quilting.  I look forward to working with you in 2013.

May your holidays be merry and bright, and your bobbins always be full.

Love,

Cindy

Nothing to say but.....Wow~

Noel brought this amazing quilt for me to quilt.  I'm not kidding...each and EVERY 2" square was perfect.  All the corners matched perfectly,  I'm saying this again....perfect.  I certainly don't possess the talent to carry this one off.  The color transition from row to row was absolutely incredible.  I don't know how she does it ( but perhaps if I spend enough time with her - something good will rub off).  The colors were amazing and the back was a beautiful green.  I quilted an overall flowers and feathers and it turned out great.  Someone in Tennessee will receive this as a gift....lucky them.

Feathers

DeAnne make this lovely star quilt and asked me to quilt it for her.  I went beyond my comfort zone and quilted the entire quilt in feathers.  This was the first time that I marked an entire quilt - and I love how it turned out.  Merry Christmas DeAnn!

O' Christmas Tree

Who doesn't love this cute pattern!  I quilted this in an overall meander and I love the end result.  These twister quilts are so much fun to make.  Thanks for letting me help you finish this festive project.

Batiks

I just love batiks - and this quilt was exceptional.  The color combinations and piecing were lovely.  I quilted in an overall pattern - the batting was extra puffy which created a special gift for someone.

Color correction for sure!

The color on this picture is crazy.  The border in this quilt was pastel flowers - with violet and green hues in the middle.  Sorry - but the quilting pattern was so cute.

Ho Ho Ho

These fabrics got me in the Christmas mood for sure.  The top photo is a table topper.  Who knew that blue was the new rage for Christmas.  I Love it!  The bottom cuddle quilt  should be mine....really.  The snowmen, bicycles, sleds and christmas trees were just too cute.  The back was white minky that really showed off the quilting.

Get Happy !

Barbara had me quilt this for her crazy friend.  These colors just can't help but make you happy.  The thread was Superior - and it reminds me of Mardi Gras.  Quilt on Barb!

Gone Fishing

Cindy makes these quilts for her kids with so much thought.  This one is for her daughter who is a marine biologist.  Perfect.  We selected a pattern that looked like water and seaweed.  The back is blue minky - and we all know that minky is everyone's favorite.  Fish on!

Aloha!

Elise made this quilt for her parents who are returning from a mission to Hawaii.  WHAT A TREASURE!  Each block was an original work of art - right from Elise's heart.  I can't believe how darling this quilt turned out.  Great job Elise.

Carolina Lilies

One of my Coalville clients purchases these vintage blocks on the internet.  Believe it or don't, they are hand pieced!  If was really fun to quilt this happy version of Carolina Lilies.

Here's my story....

and I'm sticking to it.  If you haven't visited my blog for awhile, you might want to scroll down a bit since I didn't post for almost 2 months.  I've been so busy in the basement that I didn't take time to post on my blog.  Hope you enjoy the quilts - they are amazing.

Thank you so much for your support of Red Barn Quilting.  I'm having a blast quilting your beautiful creations - let's keep going!

Believe it or don't, I actually took a break and quilted a table runner for Gretchen's birthday.  Just in the knick of time, her birthday is on Friday.  I love the colors and hope she enjoys it.  Thanks to QuiltSmart....I look like a pretty good quilter.  Check out their website   quiltsmart.com  They have great cheat patterns for lots of traditional quilts.

Christmas.....Carol

My friend Carol used Quiltsmart to create these darling table runners.  Check out those PERFECT points.  Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner....am I ready....NO!

Cars and Stars

How cute is this!  Lavonna is an amazing quilter.  How does she turn out such straight quilts.  We must find out!  (Oh, nice toes Cindy).  She made this quilt for her grandson - he loves cars and I love this quilt!

Great Christmas Quilt

I just love these unusual colors for Christmas.  The teal really looks great...and a bit different that the usual red and green.  I quilted my cute xmas tree pattern.  Love it!

a little bit.....Colonial

This cute sampler was so fun to quilt.  Lots of interesting applique.  I like how it turned out.

Oh Canada!

Great story....LaVonna and Jana put together these two quilts for two teenage girls in Canada.  They've been shipped in the mail for Christmas.  The girls picked the fabric this summer and will be delighted with their new quilts.

Witches and Pumpkins!

Kandy put these two little halloween tributes together.  I LOVED the witches - their legs were 3 dimentional.  The pumpkins were raw edge - will look so cute when it's laundered.

Darling Rows

Even the most simple piecing makes a darling quilt.  Thanks DeAnn!

R & R's new quilt

Aren't these great fabrics!  Soft greens and rich reds.  I quilted this with an all over paisley pattern.  I really liked how this one turned out!
